Noah and I did a small "green" activity last Saturday and took the city bus downtown to the Rose Parade. I have been promising him I would take a bus ride with him for what seems like months so I am glad we finally did it. It was very easy and took the same time (if not less) than driving to downtown, plus we didn't have to worry about parking, traffic, etc....Thankfully Cameron had Rosemary at home because doing the trip with both kids (at least at the ages they are right now) would have been difficult. I have great admiration for those moms I see everyday at the bus stops with 2-3 kids in tow, strollers, shopping bags, etc who don't have a choice about whether to take the bus or not.
Anyway, I am hoping that our family can utilize the bus more often. It really was pretty fun.
