This blog was started many years ago. The babies have grown up! Enjoy reading both the archives and new thoughts for living lightly and intentionally.

Welcome Visitors!
If you're reading for the first time, it may feel a bit like you've just walked into a conversation that has been going on for awhile.
So to catch you up...
Jennifer started this blog because she was going through the process of becoming more conscious of her lifestyle choices and had decided to "go green". As she talked to her friends she quickly realized that she was not the only one interested in making changes. The blog was born. We used this as a place to discuss things we've tried and to support each other in the journey.

Is Calvin going to use the dryer then? Could you hang them above the washer and dryer? I usually hang things on our shower curtain rod to dry.
Hi Jennifer
we use a retractable line so that when you don't want to see it you can just retract it. We doubled it across the width of our garage and that usually holds a full load.
One my parents use is they hung an extra shower rod in the hall bath and have two now to hang things from.
I like the idea of the retractable, too. We have not made it that far. I have a hubby road block on that, too. And a little boy that would want to help - but I have a nagging feeling the clothes would end up everywhere - like when he helps me fold. Bless him, he tries.
