I keep meaning to post this. Don't know if you have seen it, but in the March 2007 AT&T phone book they have a Recycle and Reuse section. It's a really great resource for local recycle needs. They have some things in there I hadn't thought of recycling only because I didn't know where to go... now I do!
Also, I found an organic/green dry cleaner. They have two locations:
Peter Pan Cleaners
2231 Mendocino (Across from Safeway)
Santa Rosa
573-1645
www.peterpan-cleaners.com
Greenhouse Cleaners
925 Golf Course Drive (Pacific Market shopping center)
Rohnert Park
584-5275

I dropped off a suit and shirt today. I'll do a comment later to this post to let you know how they come out. I pick them up Friday afternoon.
This blog was started many years ago. The babies have grown up! Enjoy reading both the archives and new thoughts for living lightly and intentionally.

If you're reading for the first time, it may feel a bit like you've just walked into a conversation that has been going on for awhile.
So to catch you up...
Jennifer started this blog because she was going through the process of becoming more conscious of her lifestyle choices and had decided to "go green". As she talked to her friends she quickly realized that she was not the only one interested in making changes. The blog was born. We used this as a place to discuss things we've tried and to support each other in the journey.

Great resource, I have some dry cleaning and was going to look that up. Thanks for saving me the effort.
I have used Greenhouse Cleaners near Pacific Market in RP twice now, and they seem as good as anywhere else and about the same cost. I don't do a lot of dry cleaning - especially now that I don't work - so I don't have a lot of current comparisons, but I did go back twice and will most likely go again...
