This blog was started many years ago. The babies have grown up! Enjoy reading both the archives and new thoughts for living lightly and intentionally.

Welcome Visitors!
If you're reading for the first time, it may feel a bit like you've just walked into a conversation that has been going on for awhile.
So to catch you up...
Jennifer started this blog because she was going through the process of becoming more conscious of her lifestyle choices and had decided to "go green". As she talked to her friends she quickly realized that she was not the only one interested in making changes. The blog was born. We used this as a place to discuss things we've tried and to support each other in the journey.

I hate lipstick with a passion! Plus, Dan won't kiss me if I had it on. Our Wedding was the exception. Also, I've tried the lipstick that is supposed to stay on your lips. Nope, didn't work. Even lip gloss doesn't work for me.
So weird that we swallow that much! I have to read that book...
Thats cool that you found something you like, I am a chapstick girl(Erica turned me on to Burts Bees chapstick a couple years ago) 99.9% of the time, but it would be nice to have something for those dress-up occasions.
For my mother in laws birthday we got her a lipstick called "Plant Love" that was all organic and made with natural botanicals, but the cool part was that the tube itself was made from corn and could be recycled. Also you could plant the box it came in and it grew a bunch of wildflowers. She really seemed to like it too.
