Costco organic selections

I went to Costco yesterday and was surprised by the increasing amount of organic food they have been stocking. Some of the items are mixed greens, milk, spaghetti sauce, cold cereal, hot cereal, bread, sugar, beef, mac and cheese, peanut butter....
They also sell eco friendly laundry detergent at about 1/2 the cost of what it costs at the comm. market or other natural foods stores. I was hoping to find Eco brand dishwasher soap but they don't carry that yet. The spokeswoman for the product was in the store and said that the more consumer feedback the customers give Costco about stocking eco friendly, organic goods, the more products will be sold.

One of the nice things about Costco is the bulk packaging as well as the price.

Yea! I am so glad to see you post!

Thanks for the heads up about Costco, I also noticed more organic selections making their way onto the shelves. Makes it easier to shop too.

That's what I love about Costco!
I did buy their strawberries last year. About half went bad, because I forgot you can freeze them. Now that we have a bigger freezer, I'm all up for buying those kinds of items at Costco.

YEA EMILY!!! So excited to see a post from you! :)

Costco is one of my least-favorite (second maybe to the hardware store) places to shop, but I might just have to give them a second look.

Welcome Visitors!

If you're reading for the first time, it may feel a bit like you've just walked into a conversation that has been going on for awhile.

So to catch you up...

Jennifer started this blog because she was going through the process of becoming more conscious of her lifestyle choices and had decided to "go green". As she talked to her friends she quickly realized that she was not the only one interested in making changes. The blog was born. We used this as a place to discuss things we've tried and to support each other in the journey.
